Parents know that a haircut can be a traumatic undertaking for a child. This insecurity, however, is relative to the environment. Children are out of their element at a standard salon. At , the atmosphere is child-friendly, putting the little ones at ease within a comfortable surrounding. Rather than 'swimming' in an adult sized chair, your child will sit atop a carousel-style animal. The may choose from a horse, a seal, a frog or an elephant, each greeting them with a welcoming smile.

During the haircut, your child will be surrounded by familiar faces; characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse and Cookie Monster decorate our salon. A "life-size" train will catch your child's attention while riding the rails as it disappears inside the mountain! If you happen to miss is, don't worry....the train always circles around for another pass! This provides a distraction, and before you know it the haircut is complete. 
If it's your child's 1st haircut, we understand it is a very precious moment. As a parent, you want to remember all the "firsts". Your child's 1st haircut is no exception. You will be presented with a 1st Haircut Certificate, a lock of their hair and a 1st haircut sticker. Please feel free to bring your camera/video to capture this cherished memory.
Once their haircut is finished, we have even more surprises in store for your child. First, they will receive a sticker. Second, they will be able to satisfy their sweet tooth by selecting a piece of candy from a variety of jars. And last but not least, their choice of a special toy from the Treasure Chest. Not only will your child look great, but they will feel great too!

For the teens or older children who have outgrown the animal chairs, we offer a separate, more private adult station in the salon for their comfort. This allows us to continue to share the memories as your child matures.
